TYPE1 XMAS PARTY 2019

Well what can we say! We did it!

We hosted our biggest Type1 Christmas Party EVER! With just over 340 people coming together as one. 90 families all living with Type1. 230 children, their parents, and siblings. A huge thanks to our Major Sponsor Medtronic and Adventure Park Geelong.

Many families travelled hours, some came from interstate, one family drove 9 hours with 4 kids, another 5 hours with 3 kids. All because they wanted to connect with other families living with Type1 like them. It’s a truly special village we have created. It’s friendly, happy and positive and we just couldn’t be prouder. We love seeing the smiles on these kids faces. The laughter and watching the friendships between families that grow deeper and stronger at every event.

Type1 Diabetes is a really crappy disease to live with, it’s relentless and 24/7 and no one ever quite understands what is required daily. So the importance of having days like this are even more special to keep us going strong. Connecting families to ensure they are supported through their journey. We promise we won’t stop creating events until there’s a cure to Type1. Merry Xmas and so much love.
