Hi, I’m Jye Warren. I’m 35 years old and was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes 10 years ago. The journey hasn’t always been easy—managing this condition has come with its fair share of challenges—but I’m proud to say I’ve reached a place where I feel in control and confident in my health.

Fitness has always been a huge part of my life. Whether it’s footy, hitting the gym, or taking on the occasional triathlon, I love pushing myself and staying active. But above all, the role I cherish most is being a dad to my four-year-old son, Jobe. Together, as a family of three, we thrive outdoors—whether we’re on the Murray fishing, out kicking the footy or just enjoying time in together outside.

I’m genuinely excited to be working alongside the Type 1 Foundation community, sharing experiences, learning from others, and helping to support those living with type 1 diabetes.
